Katherm NK
Natural convection.Overview
Katherm NK standard trenches are available on short delivery times. This lets you plan and gives you certainty when managing your project.
We offer a very wide range of different versions. Customers can choose from five different trench widths (offering different outputs), four heights, and 22 lengths. And to match the interior design, the trench is complemented by a matching grille and frame edge, giving you total flexibility in your design. Easily removable end pieces enable continuous trench runs to be created to fit the shape of the facade.
Made-to-measure products are available for architectural styles with individual geometries. This applies to the trench and grille. Mitered corners, curved designs, corners and angles, pillar recesses and a range of different grille finishes and frame edges are available. Ask us for advice.
Katherm NK trench systems are particularly suitable for modern commercial or administrative buildings or other buildings with large glazed facades. Ideal for spaces in which no free-standing radiators can be installed in front of windows for visual reasons. Cold air shielding or supplementary heat provision is also delivered in a targeted manner, taking advantage of the special properties of natural convection. The coil (heat transfer medium) transfers its heat to the room air, which then rises on the window side, effectively shielding the cold window front and thus preventing the windows from fogging up.
The entire range of trench systems includes products with low sound emissions. However, the special feature of Katherm NK units is that they work without a fan, purely with natural convection. This makes them particularly suitable for use in sound-sensitive applications.
Rooms that have relatively static heating requirements, such as hallways, hotel lobbies, conservatories or living rooms, are particularly suitable for use with Katherm NK units. Thanks to the coils, which are optimized in terms of output, energy-saving operation can be achieved with low water temperatures and heat pumps, keeping the operating costs low.
